REQUIREMENT LOGISTICS

WHAT I REQUIRE FROM YOU

As my mentor, you would need to help guide me through the field of real estate appraisal so that I can learn everything there is to know about the field. Appraisal is an accumulation of knowledge, and I am an eager student.

Additionally, as a mentor, you would be required to take one 4-hour class as per the 2015 ABQ Supervisor/Trainee Course Requirement listed here along with other requirements. You would also be responsible for supervising my appraisals conducted during the apprenticeship.

WHAT WOULD BE REQUIRED FROM ME

If given an apprenticeship opportunity, I will be able to register as an official trainee and complete the 150 education coursework hours for the State of California listed here.

I will then work under my supervisor for 3,000 hours over the course of 1.5 years, or 18 months. 1,500 hours of my required experience must be in non-residential appraisal work. I will also complete my qualifying education requirement of 300 hours, resulting in my Certified General (AG) License.
